zDays
One way Zebra encourages our employees to support their own wellbeing is by participating in zDays – a paid, companywide day off for those eligible to participate. On zDays, you are strongly encouraged to take the day off, which includes remaining offline.
With little to no activity from your Zebra colleagues, the intent is to support your mental wellbeing by enabling you to take the day off without the stress of missing Zebra meetings or returning to a significant number of emails. Zebra will provide advance notice each year prior to the global zDay with information on how to participate.
Flex Fridays
Flex Fridays are another way Zebra supports employee mental health by allowing eligible employees to end their day early on Fridays when workloads and roles allow. Flex Fridays run from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.
This is a great opportunity for eligible employees to unplug from work early on Fridays, engage in an activity they are passionate about, and start the weekend in a positive way. Additional information on Flex Fridays will be distributed prior to Memorial Day each year.
Focus Fridays
Focus Fridays are another way employees can promote their own wellbeing. They are designed to create “white space” on calendars across the company so employees can focus on completing tasks for the week.
We encourage you to promote Focus Fridays and lead by example by not scheduling meetings after 12 p.m. local time on Fridays beginning the Friday after Labor Day through Memorial Day. After Memorial Day, Zebra pivots from Focus Fridays to Flex Fridays each year. Additional information on Focus Fridays will be distributed prior to Labor Day each year.
