Get reimbursed when you see a Top Provider through Garner. Our vendor partner, Garner, works alongside our BCBS medical plans to help you find the highest quality in-network doctors, known as Top Providers, in your area and will reimburse you for eligible expenses when you visit them.

Reimbursement:

  • Amount: Up to $1,000 per year for Employee Only coverage and $2,000 per year for all other coverage tiers
  • Eligible expenses: Copays, deductible, and coinsurance costs at a Garner Top Provider
  • If enrolled in the Basic HSA or Advantage HSA plan, you are eligible for reimbursement after you incur $1,650 for Employee Only coverage or $3,300 for all other coverage tiers

Your costs are lowest when you see a provider in the medical plan network. Find an in-network provider on the BCBS website. Use the Participating Provider Organization network.

If you are in Wisconsin, use the Blue Preferred POS network, and in Georgia, use the Blue Open Access POS network.

Get Virtual Care

If you are covered by one of Zebra’s BCBS medical plans, you have 24/7 access to virtual care for non-emergency medical concerns, from the comfort of home. Because they’re offered by our medical plan provider, these options are often much less expensive than alternatives like an urgent care center or emergency room.

  • Call the FREE Nurseline to discuss symptoms and get advice: 1-800-299-0274.
  • Use MDLIVE, BCBS’s virtual care partner, to connect with doctors for help with minor illnesses such as a cold, the flu, pinkeye, a urinary tract infection and allergies. The doctors can even send many electronic prescriptions straight to your local pharmacy. Use Reference-Based Pricing for MRIs

If you need an MRI, please use the tools on the BCBS website to learn how much the plan will cover for an MRI in your area, and compare costs of nearby in-network providers. This process, called “reference-based pricing” is designed to provide cost transparency and ensure you get the best deal.

The cost of an MRI can vary widely without much difference in quality, so if you decide to see a provider that charges more than the amount the plan will cover, you will be responsible for paying the difference.

You must meet the annual deductible first, before the plan pays its share of the cost (i.e., the reference-based amount) and coinsurance does not apply.

Example: Here’s an example of how reference-based pricing would work for someone with Employee Only coverage under the Advantage PPO medical plan:
